Ohio Biographies Project County Coordinator's Guidelines

So, you're interested in coordinating a county page for Ohio Biographies........ Here are the requirements for all CC's. Please read this entire page before e-mailing me:

1. Links to the following must be on every County site:

2. Ohio Biographies & the U.S. Biographies logos must be posted somewhere on the first page of your site. Note: The Ohio Bios State logo was created by vikimouse. Please make sure to give her a credit/link from your page!

3. The first paragraph on the sample page must be displayed somewhere on the first page of the county site.

4. You must subscribe to OHIO-BIO mailing list. This is where you let me know what new biographies you have added to you site and where other project announcements are made. Below are the instructions for subcribing to the list:

How to subscribe. Send a message to

OHIO-BIO-L-request@rootsweb.com

that contains (in the body of the message) the command

and no additional text.

If you prefer digest mode, substitute the "L" with a "D". When you have added new biographies to your site, you need to post a message to the OHIO-BIO mailing list containing the list of names so that I can keep the state bios index current. Note: All biographies posted to any county site will be copied and archived by Ohio Biographies. This is needed to insure that all biographies will be freely available to everyone for a very long time! :-)
