Tunison A. Drake

 Tunison A. Drake was born August 15, 1869 in Wyandot Co., Ohio.  He was the 
son of Silas Drake (born Pennsylvania) and Rowena Quackenbush (born Ohio).  
Tunison was one of nine children: Ephraim A., Mary E., Martha J., John, Francis, 
Tunison A., Anna, Oliver E., and Charles Sherman.
 Tunison’s father, Silas Drake, was a farmer in northwestern Ohio; as was 
Tunison.  He lived most of his life near Findlay, Ohio in Hancock County.
 Tunison married twice.  First to Yourena Brown on February 28, 1892 in Wood 
Co., Ohio; she died.  Second he married Pearl A. Dick about 1902.
 Tunison had 11 children, with 6 preceding him in death; known children were: 
Elva Viola, Steven, Milton L., Alonzo O., Myrtle J., Marion D., Merlin M., 
and Lewis J.
 He died December 21, 1947 in Mt. Blanchard, Ohio.  He was buried in an 
unmarked grave in Ten-Mile Cemetery in Hancock Co., Ohio.
