COLUMBUS BEARDSLEY was born in Nelson Township, this county, August 1, 1830,
son of Clark and Sarah (Sherwood) Beardsley; was united in marriage February
10, 1857, with Miss Eleanor Peirce, daughter of Samuel E. and Betsy Hopkins.
By this union there is one son - Willie - a farmer by occupation.
