His wife is the mother of four children by her former husband, Thomas Dyer, named: John W., born October 1, 1855, died April 12, 1857; Nancy J., August 30, 1857; Elias B., June 7, 1860; Martin T., October 5, 1862. Mr. Elswick was married to Maribeh Bazell, who was born in Pike county, Kentucky, of which Mr. Elswick is also a native. Their children are: William B., born February 12, 1866; Wiley B., December 21, 1867; Edward E., May 4, 1871; Frederick L., August 24, 1873; Minnie E., October 19, 1875; George M., March 9, 1878; Julius A., April 17, 1880. The parents of Mrs. Elswick are Elias and Elizabeth (Radcliff) Bazell. They came to this county in 1851. Mr. Elswick is a resident of Lawrence township, and is engaged in farming. His postoffice address is Rock Camp, Lawrence county, Ohio.
