LAKE COUNTY OHIO ************************************************************* File contributed to the Lake County, Ohio Biographies Project by Deb Breniser rbcobb@ncweb.com January 6, 2000 ************************************************************** From the 1915 Lake County, Ohio Atlas TWIN PINES FRUIT FARM is owned by Emma Joiner, Post Office, Perry, Ohio, one and one-half mile distant. It numbers 32.90 acres and is located near Perry Village, Township 11, Range 7. The farms special product consists of fruit and nursery stock; the fruit varieties include peaches, cherries, grapes and currants. Never-failing wells furnish an ample water supply and its name is derived from two pine trees in front of the residence. Building improvements are in the best condition, and embrace a modern farm residence, a barn and shops. Its surface is level and soil a gravely loam. The farm was formerly owned by the Huson Estate, from which it was purchased by H. P. Haskell and from him the title passed on to Mr. and Mrs. Joiner in 1907. The Joiners came to Ashtabula, Ohio, in 1885, with their two children and settled in Perry where they have since resided. Mr. Joiner married Emma Adams, of Ashtabula, February. 27, 1881, and to them were born four children, two of whom are living. Mr. Joiner has always taken an active interest in political matters affiliating with the Republican Party.
