Shepard, address Perry, Ohio, R.F.D., No, 2. It contains 52.09 acres on the Fairport Road, Stop no. 10, of the C.P.& A.R.R. The products are shipped by trolley from Stop 10 on this farm. Dairying, fruit, poultry and general soil products constitute the farm's industries. The special feature is its dairy containing 25 head of graded and thoroughbred cows, the product from which is 25 gallons of milk per day. The water supply is received from springs and wells. Building improvements are in the best conditions and electric lighted. The residence has all modern conveniences. The soil is gravely loam and exceedingly productive, as is evidenced by the extraordinary yield of 100 bushels of oats per acre and four tons of alfalfa to the acre is not unusual. Friendly Stock Farm was purchased by present owner in 1891, and he added many important improvements. It is considered one of the noted Farms of Perry Township.
