Stone, Post Office, Perry, Ohio. It contains 74 acres on the Middle Ridge Road two and one-half miles from Perry Village in Lots 72 and 82, Township 11, Range 7. Perry Village is its nearest market. The earning capacity of this farm is divided as follows. One and one-half acres of grapes, two acres in pears, four acres of apples, five acres of peaches and several varieties of berries. Its soil products are onions, potatoes, corn, oats, wheat, etc. In addition, there are 12 acres in meadow and seven in timber. The farm is watered by wells, a Township Ditch and a never-failing spring. Building improvements embrace a commodious farm residence, modern and up-to-date in its appointments, containing 14 rooms, large barn for stock in excellent condition, with cement floors and in dimensions 30 x 60, tool house, ice house, corn house, and carriage house combined, one garage, one silo and poultry house. The farms surface is level, its soil a gravel loam with some black sand. In addition to the farms products already mentioned, Mr. Stone has a small herd of Holstein cattle. This farm was first owned by Isaac Sawdey; from him to E. C. Sawdey, thence to Elsie D. Sawdey, from whom the farm was purchased by the present owner in 1906. Mr. Stone married Eva M. Lace, September. 25, 1895 and their family consists of four children, three daughters and one son, the latter residing in Cleveland.
