Segner and G. S. James, their address being Perry Village, two and one-half miles distant. It contains 7.72 acres located on the North Ridge Road, two and one-half miles from Perry Village. This little farm is devoted almost exclusively to the cultivation of fruit, and is watered by never-failing wells. Its building improvements consist of a comfortable residence. Its surface is level and its soil a gravel muck. George S. James was born in Cleveland, Ohio, Jan. 27, 1890 and came to Perry, March 1914. In Jan. 1915, he opened a general store at the corner of North Ridge and Antioch Roads, conducting a successful business from the day the store opened and Mr. James is considered a popular young merchant. The business conducted has so developed that an enlargement to his salesroom has been necessary from time to time. He married Mary McNeal, May 19, 1911. The store is located on an improved highway noted for automobile traffic.
