 The Biography of  Elizabeth Shultz

Daughter of George Jacob Shultz and Elizabeth Creager

           	Elizabeth Shultz was born in 1830 and from the time she was old 

enough she was always working on the 40 acre farm of her parents. She was named 

after her Mother and they always shared a common bond. Elizabeth had never met 

any fellow's that piqued her interest... in fact, she had never met many young 

men; she was happy working on the farm and taking care of her brothers and 

sisters. Mother Elizabeth talked to her about this as did George. She took 

their advice and started to attend more social functions around Ansonia. 

Eventually she did meet someone who liked her and wanted to marry her... and 

the best part of it was, she fell for him, too. So, after 29 years she married 

this young man, Stephen Brown. He was the son of Brown and "Unknown". The 

marriage took place on a Sunday afternoon on October 16, 1859.



	Their first offspring  was Mary E. Brown and she was born Abt. 1861. 

Between 1861 and 1872 the Brown's had six more children. First there was:

	Orlando Brown born Abt. 1862, then

	Frank Brown born Thu., May 5, 1864 in Woodington, Darke County, Ohio 

and who died on Wed., December 9, 1931 in Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana. 

Frank married Cora Etta Bennett on Wed., June 24, 1903.

	Odelia Brown was born Abt. 1866, and

	Harry Brown made his appearance Abt. 1869, followed by	

	Charles Brown who came to town on Sat., November 12, 1870 in 

Beamsville, Darke County, Ohio and who passed away just a month before Frank, 

on Mon., November 9, 1931 in Dawn (Ansonia), Darke County, Ohio. He married 

Ella Thornton Tue., September 2, 1902.

	Pet Brown was the last child and she was born Abt. 1872
