T. Andreas, Chicago, IL. Franklin County -- DR. JESSE I. PARAMORE, was born in Falmouth County, Ky., May 24, 1820, and studied medicine in Dearborn County, Ind., with Drs. Bowers and LeRoy for several years, and graduated at the Ohio Medical College in 1859. The doctor began the practice of his profession in 1848 at Castine, Ohio, removing to Arcanum, Ohio, in 1853. In 1862 he entered the employ of the United States Government, and did duty as a post surgeon. Two years later he went to Greenville, Ohio, practicing there until 1866, when he came to Ottawa and has since practiced his profession at this place. The doctor is chief surgeon of the K. C. L. & S. K. R. R. Co., local surgeon of the M. P. R. R. Co., and examining surgeon for United States Pensions. He is the oldest practicing physician in the city.
