Andreas, Chicago, IL. Butler County -- THOS. C. CHENOWETH, merchant is a native of Ohio, and was born in Darke County, December 27, 1848; when young came to Logan County, Ill., where he resided until 1872, when he became a resident of Kansas, Butler County; settled in little Walnut Township; when Leon became a point on the St. L. & S. F. R. R., he built the second store in the town; and has since been identified with the place. Mr. C. was married, in Olathe, Johnson Co., Kan., to Miss Rose Washington; they have three children - Harry, Dick and Edith.
