Also served as Wellsville Post Master,elected to 21st district in state senate.In 1860 represented district on electoral college electing Abraham Lincoln to presidency.Father of *Laura Frances and Austin Gaver McKenzie (aka A.G.)Dr McKenzie died at 87 yrs 7 mon 9 days.Buried Spring Hill Cemetery Additional Comments: I was raised by his dtr, *Laura's son John McKenzie Luke.Laura married James Luke and they also are buried in Spring Hill Cemetery, Wellsville OH.
