Richland Twp 

EUGENE GARAUX, son of David and Philistine Garaux, was born in Switzerland, 
May 9, 1837. His wife, daughter of John and Elizabeth Peter, was born in 
Switzerland, February 22, 1843. They have one child, Emile. Mr. Garaux came 
to Allen County in 1862; his parents came in 1869, and her parents in 1852. 
He has one brother, William, and three sisters--Emile, Julia and Josephine. 
His wife is one of a family of seven--Elise, Marian, Frederick, Henry, 
Charles, Emile and Mary.
