DR. JOHN DAVIS was born in Cincinnati, July 31, 1837, and in 1848 came to 
this county with his parents, Ebenezer and Margaret Davis, whose children are 
John, Ebenezer, Elizabeth, William, Edward, Martha Ann and Benjamin. Dr. 
Davis has held the office of township clerk.
