JOHN S COOKE and Eliza Ann (Taylor) Cooke have seven children, named as 
follows: Lizzie Priscilla, James William, Julia Adda, Mattie L. M., Samuel 
Jefferson, Sadie Anna Fidella and Joseph Edson Cooke. Mr. Cooke was born in 
Clinton County, Aug. 19, 1823. His parents are William and Elizabeth Cooke. 
Mrs. C. is a daughter of James W. and Elizabeth Taylor, and was born in 
Warren County, Sept. 13, 1824.
