Sugar Creek Twp

LESTER BLISS, son of David and Mary, and brother of Morgan L., Maria, Mahala, 
Mason and Porter, was born in Knox County, in the year 1817. His wife is a 
daughter of Manuel Hover. Their children are David M., Charles C., and Lester 
L., who was buried at Fort Scott, Kansas, in 1868. Mr. B.'s parents died in 
Knox County. Mrs. Bliss is one of a family of six, all but two of whom are 
dead. Mr. Bliss has held the office of Prosecuting Attorney, and was Member 
of the Legislature in 1852.
