JOHN BEILER was born in Columbiana County, in 1818, and at the age of 
fourteen came to Allen County with his parents, David and Nancy Beiler. He 
has three sisters and two brothers: Catharine, Mary, Esther, David and 
Samuel. His children are Samuel L., John C., A. C., E. F., Carrie and 
Josephine. Mr. B. has held the office of Township Trustee three years.
