County, April 2, 1838. His wife is a daughter of Samuel and Charlotte McCune, 
and was born in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, March 9, 1847. They have one 
child, Zelmae McCune. Dr. Arter's brothers and sisters are, Belinda A., Maria 
H., Daniel A., Samuel E., Anthony H., Aaron B., Cordelia A., Jerutha C., 
Simon M., and David L.
